Epic Arts is a disability arts charity established in 2001 and founded on the tenets of the Christian faith. They work in the UK, Cambodia and China. Epic Arts believe in a world where Every Person Counts and where people living with disabilities are valued, accepted and respected. Epic Arts promotes integration of people of all abilities and disabilities through the arts as a form of expression, transformation and empowerment.
The Board of Trustees is looking to appoint a new Country Director to lead the ground-breaking work that Epic Arts has developed in Cambodia since 2003. This is an exciting opportunity for the candidate to work for an organisation that is pioneering new ways of reaching and integrating people with a disability. The candidate will develop the programmes based in Epic Art’s new purpose-built Arts Centre in Kampot and take forward their social enterprise and advocacy role in Cambodia and the region. The candidate must be a fluent English speaker and will have personal knowledge or experience of disability, exclusion and disability arts in developing countries. S/he will also have a strong track record of leadership, NGO management and fundraising and will have lived in a developing country.
This is a full time position, with a salary of US$30,000 - US$40,000 per annum (based on experience). All candidates will be expected to be committed to the tenets of the Christian faith.
