The National Portrait Gallery houses a unique collection of all forms of portraiture of the people who have made or who are currently contributing to British history and culture. With more than 1.9 million visitors each year, the Gallery is one of the country’s most important and popular galleries.
The Frame Conservation studio is responsible for the care and conservation of the Gallery’s collection of historic and contemporary frames. Deputising for the Frame Conservation Manager you will be involved in the day to day management of the studio projects. You will have either a BSc in Conservation/Restoration and/or experience working with historic frames.
