Tangible helps clients achieve their business and marketing objectives by devising and producing creatively-excellent communication campaigns, which deliver tangible and measurable results. Tangible’s business comprises highly experienced teams specialising in the areas of brand and strategy planning, advertising & design, direct marketing and data strategy, promotional, partnership and event marketing, digital and online marketing, media planning and buying and PR.
The primary job function would be to support the current head of digital in HTML email and Flash banner design and build. Working with creative teams, the applicant will be able to take a banner concept and develop it into storyboards using Adobe Photoshop. Once approved, they will then translate those storyboards into animated Flash banners and supporting Gifs. A similar workflow will be utilised in the production of HTML emails, with an initial design stage in Photoshop paying attention to the limitations of the medium which will then lead to an HTML build using tables and inline styles.
Due to the varied nature of the projects, the applicant must be comfortable working with a broad variety of brand guidelines. They must also be adaptable and eager to learn.
Other activities likely to be undertaken by the chosen candidate include:
- Website/microsite design and build in validating HTML
- Video banners (which may include basic video editing)
- Saving images optimised for web
- Image searches
Requirements:
- Adobe Photoshop design experience
- Basic/intermediate HTML/CSS
- Experience with timeline animation in Flash
- Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Creating gifs in Adobe Photoshop
Desirable skills
- Basic AS2 or AS3 for Flash
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
The hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm. The salary is a minimum of £18,000 per annum.
